Biography

Dr. Junjun Ni got his Ph.D. from Kyushu University, Japan. His research focuses on the physiological and pathological functions of cathepsins in aging and neurodegenerative diseases. He also found that microglial intrinsic clock disturbance and periodontal disease could contribute to the progression of Alzheimer’s disease through microglia-mediated neuroinflammation.
