Biography

Dr Mogens Lytken Larsen is a Chief Physician at the Department of Cardiology Section B at Odense University Hospital. Mogens Lytken Larsen became a doctor in 1978 and trained as a specialist in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. In 2005, he became Medical Director for the Danish Heart Foundation until he became Chief of Cardiology Section B, Odense University Hospital in 2007.
Mogens Lytken Larsen’s research has primarily focused on the prevention of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. He has supervised several PhD students and published over 100 scientific articles in international journals as well as several textbook chapters.
