Igor L Medintz

Biography
Dr Igor L. Medintz received his PhD in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology from the City University of New York in 1998. He then undertook post-doctoral research with Dr Richard A. Mathies in the College of Chemistry at the University of California Berkeley. Currently he is a Research Biologist at the US Naval Research Laboratory in Washington DC. He serves on the editorial board of several journals including Bioconjugate Chemistry and Therapeutic Delivery. He has authored more than 125 research papers which have been cited more than 8000 times. He was honored as one of the 2007 top Navy Scientists of the year.
