Biography
Dr. Koppole Chandra Sekhar is working as an UGC-Assistant Professor in Department of Physics, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur, India since July 2015. He holds a Ph.D degree in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India(2009), M.Sc degree in Physics (2003) and B.Sc degree (2001) in Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University Guntur. He did his postdoctoral work at Yonsei University, Seoul, Republic of Korea during the period 2009-2010 and at University of Minho, Braga, Portugal during the period 2011-2015. He is author/co-author for around 50 articles in international journals and also served as Referee for various journals in the field of Material Science and Experimental Condensed Matter Physics. He received Young Faculty Award From Venus International Foundation, India and the fellowships like MHDR-IITR fellowship; CSIR-SRF; Brain Korean(BK)21 and Portuguese foundation of science and technology(FCT) postdoctoral grants. His Biography included in the edition of Marquis Who’s Who in the World. Currently, his research interests are growth and characterization of thin films and nanostructures of functional materials for memory and photovoltaic applications.
