Dr. Shroff is leading research scientist at America’s top ranking Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science, University of Minnesota. He has very multidisciplinary background and has expertise in areas of Bioactive Nanomaterials for Diagnostics and Targeted delivery of Therapeutics, Biomimetic Peptide Hydrogels for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Peptide-polymer hybrids for functionalization of Biomaterials and bio-medical coatings, Biomaterial Interactions, and “Lab-on-a-chip” living cell-microarrays for biosensors. Dr. Shroff obtained his Ph.D. from prestigious University of Freiburg, Germany working in the field of Bio-MEMS devices.
Dr. Shroff serves in Editorial board of Drug Delivery Letters, Judge at Minnesota Academy of Sciences, and Expert reviewer for annual presentations screening committee of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. Dr. Shroff also serves as peer reviewer for 13 journals, including high impact journals like: Journal of Controlled Release (Elsevier), Biomacromolecules (ACS), Intl. J. of Nanomedicine (Dove Press), and PLoS One.
