Biography
Larisa Sandulescu is University assistant in internal medicine discipline, and internal medicine and hepatology specialist. Her PhD research was focused on complex studies on molecular and immunohistological techniques at patients with chronic viral C hepatitis, in the beginning and at the end of it of antiviral treatment. She has published more than 50 articles and abstracts in the fields of hepatology and her work has appeared in many leading journals including the Journal of Hepatology, World Journal of Gastroenterology, Journal of Gastroenterology and Liver Disease and Romanian Journal of Morphology and Embriology. She is currently focused on new imaging technique (contrast enhanced ultrasound, hybrid technique, real time sono-elastography), hepatocellular carcinoma and viral hepatitis. She is a member of several national and international societies.
