Biography

Dr. Höti has earned his Ph.D. degree in the field of Molecular biology and biochemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). During his Ph.D. training he became interested in the field of Cancer biology and Gene therapy, after a short training at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, Dr. Höti moved to the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a post doctorate fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Ronald Rodriguez and then a Junior Faculty and principle investigator in the department of Urology. Dr. Höti has worked in the field of prostate cancer therapeutics for the more than ten years. Beside oncolytic and conditionally replicating viruses his research interests include prostate cancer proteomics, glycoproteomics and miRNA biology and its processing machinery in the progression of prostate cancer.
