Yong Shen did his B.Sc (1979-1983) in Physiology in Nanjing university, (1986-1989) in Neurophysiology in Physiology Institute, Academia Sinica, Laboratory of Behavioral Neuroscience and Ph.D (1986-1989) in neuroscience in State university of New York at Binghamton.

Research Interest

Yong shen′s research interests includes Molecular cellular mechanisms of neuron and glial functions for related diseases, Roles of neuroimmunology in neuronal degeneration and regeneration, Molecular cloning and characterization of novel genes related with brain disorders, Development of clinical diagnostic markers for brain disorders Alzheimer and Parkinson’s diseases, Identification of small molecules as potential drugs for brain disorders, Mechanisms of Learning and memory
