Biography
Dr. Shipeng Wei, graduated in 2001 from Harbin Medical University in Harbin, China. During training in General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology, he developed his research in the field of oxidative stress and heart diseasees, which focuses on serum oxidative biomarkers and the prognosis of heart diseases. To date, he has published over 30 articles in international journals. His other research interests include cardiac arrhythmia and electrophysiology, electrophysiology and ion channels. Now he is actively serving as editorial members in more than 10 international journals and as reviewers for more than 20 journals. He has been invited as a reviewer for the American Free Radical Journals for 4 consecutive years. He started his internal medicine residency training in Augusta University in 2016 and is now actively involved in both clinical and basic research.
Research Interest
General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, cardiac arrhythmia and electrophysiology, electrophysiology and ion channels.
