Biography
Luigi F. Rodella has completed his degree in Medicine and Surgery, degree in Biological Sciences, specialization in General Pathology. He is working as an Associated Professor of Human Anatomy at University of Brescia, Italy. Head of the Gross Anatomy Laboratory. Deputy Director of the Research Center of Adaptation and Regeneration of Tissues and Organs. Scientific Coordinator of Study Group for Neuroanatomy, Craniofacial and Endoscopic Anatomy. President of the Italian Society for the Study of Orofacial Pain. Fellow of the International College of Dentists. Member of the Italian Society of Anatomy and Histology, International Association for the Study of Pain, American Association of Clinical Anatomists. Scientific coordinator of Courses of surgical anatomy of the head and neck for oral and maxillofacial surgeons, otolaryngologists and neurosurgeons. He is the author of more than 180 articles in international journals and more than 250 communications at national and international congress focusing mainly: anatomy of pain transmission and modulation, craniofacial anatomy, cardiovascular disease, tissue regeneration. He is the author of books, book chapters and monographs of Systematic Anatomy, Microscopic Anatomy, Surgical Anatomy for Dentistry, Neuroscience.
