Frimpong is Professor and Robert Quenon Endowed Chair of Mining and Nuclear Engineering and the Director of the Heavy Mining Machinery Laboratory at Missouri S&T. He holds PhD (1992) from University of Alberta, MS (1988) from University of Zambia, and Postgraduate Diploma (1986) and BS (1985) from Ghana University of Science and Technology. Frimpong has over 25 years of experience in research, education, consulting, and industry practice. He previously worked as Professor and Associate Professor (University of Alberta), Assistant Professor.He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Canada, and a member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration, Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Society for Modeling and Simulation International.

Multi-Body Dump Truck Dynamics; Mechanics of Dump Truck Vibrations; Augmented Dump Truck Vision; Shovel Kinematics and Dynamics; Dragline Kinematics and Dynamics; Shovel Excavation Simulation; Dynamic Stress Profiling of Shovel Front-end Assembly;  Multi- Body Shovel Dynamics

About 20 years.

3.      How has your research precinct affected the scientific community?
YES in terms of Post-Doctoral Fellows, Graduate Students; Journal and Conference Publications; and Industry Consulting.

Originality; Advances Research Frontiers; Advances Knowledge; Number of Citations; Basis for Invention Disclosures, Patents, Derived Technologies

How does the published scientific content assist the potential researchers?
By being publicly available for reference; Opening new frontiers for research and technology development; Providing solutions, explanations and useful materials for new researchers.

6.      Where can the journal find the maximum scope in terms of niche?
By identifying its potential customers and serving their needs appropriately.

7.      Your opinion on conducting EB meetings at related Conferences?

8.      How would you define your experience with OMICS Group?
 OMICS is a bit expensive for university researchers; However, the turn-around is quite good.

9.      Do you feel content with publication of your work with OMICS?
Yes so far I do feel happy.

10. What other aspects should be taken into consideration for Journal forbearance? OMICS has to advance marketing and public relations extensively.
