Abstract

Cancer is a complex and multifactorial disease that affects millions of individuals worldwide. Although numerous factors contribute to cancer development and progression, mounting evidence suggests that nutrition plays a pivotal role in both cancer prevention and treatment. This research article provides a comprehensive review of the relationship between cancer and nutrition, highlighting the impact of various dietary components on carcinogenesis, tumor growth, and response to therapy. The review encompasses epidemiological studies, experimental models, and clinical trials to elucidate the intricate interactions between nutrients, bioactive compounds, and cancer. This research article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the intricate relationship between cancer and nutrition. By exploring the impact of macronutrients, micronutrients, dietary patterns, and nutritional strategies, this review highlights the potential role of nutrition in cancer prevention and treatment.
