Biography
Dr. Domenico Rubello is a Professor of Radioguided Surgery at the Post-graduate Surgery Medical School at Padova University, Italy. He is also Professor of Nuclear Medicine at the Postgraduate Surgery Medical School at Pisa University. Dr Domenico Rubello obtained the Academic Degree as Medical Doctor in 1986 at Padova University, Italy. He obtained the post-graduate Academic Degree in Endocrinology in 1989 at Padova University, Italy. He obtained the post-graduate Academic Degree in Nuclear Medicine in 1993 at Padova University, Italy. He worked in various Hospitals and Departments in Italy: Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Padova University as Director, Professor Mario Austoni. Moreover, he worked at the Nuclear Medicine Service, Radiology Department of the Michigan University Medical Center, USA. He is member of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), of the British Nuclear Medicine Society (BNMS), of the Italian Association of Nuclear Medicine (AIMN), of the Italian Study Group on Radioguided Surgery (GISCRIS). He is member of the Editorial Board and/or Reviewer of various scientific journals of which the principal are listed below Nuclear Medicine Communications (Editorial board member from 1st January 2005 to present; than elected Editor from 1st June 2013; will be Editor-in-Chief in 2016) - LWW Publisher. The European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (Editorial board member from 1st January 2007 to present) -Springer Publisher. Dr Rubello performed as Peer reviewer for more than 120 articles. He is author of more than 1000 scientific papers, 521 of them cited in PubMed/MEDLINE.
