Meriadeg AR Gouilh completed his Phd in IRD / CVVD laboratory at the Mahidol University Faculty of Science (Center for Vector and Vector-borne Diseases) and in the biologic emergency response unit of the Pasteur Institute Paris (CIBU). The project treats with the implication of domestic and wild mammals (Chiroptera and Carnivorus orders) in the emergence and evolution of human pathogens in Thailand, focusing on viruses carried by bats in South-East Asia such as Coronavirus (SARS-CoV), Flavivirus, Lyssavirus and Hendra/Nipahvirus. He was Member of a team in charge of a tourist frequentation study on Port-cros and Porquerolles. Study ordered by the national park of Port-cros, managed by Mr. L. Brigand, geography professor to the Brest West Brittany University, GÅ½omer Unit, UMR 6554 (UBO) / Marine European Academic Institute (IUEM), in order to legislate circulation in these islands.
