Paulo Vieira Damasco awarded PhD in Medical Sciences from Rio de Janeiro State University, Brazil  in 2004 – 2006. He holds a Master Degree (MSc) in Medicine (Infectious and Parasitic Diseases) from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in the 1993 – 1996 followed by a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Medicine from Federal Rio de Janeiro State University in the 1981 – 1987.  He completed his post doctural studies in 2014 from University Medical Center Groningen , UMCG , Netherlands. Currently, he is working in Pedro Ernesto University Hospital, Infection Control Committee, Brazil. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.  

Research Interest

Paulo Vieira Damasco research interest is mainy focussed in the department of health sciences particularly related to treatment of infectious diseases and parasitic diseases. His research interest also related to the field of e-coli infections, gonorroheal infections, nosocomial infections, urinary tract infections survilleance and its treatment procedures with effective antibiotics.
