Dr. Myron F. Floyd is currently working as Department Head and Professor in the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management, North Carolina State University at USA. His Current Research Interests are Contribution of parks and recreation amenities to physical activity  in low-income communities of colour,   Race/ethnicity and leisure activity preferences, Environmental justice, Health benefits of urban green space etc. He did his Ph.D from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas and MS From Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina, USA.
