Biography

Dr. Sathisha Upparahalli Venkateshaiah received Ph.D. from University of Mysore, INDIA, where he studied modulation of galectin-3 (glycoprotein) by a dietary galectin inhibitor, pectin-a polysaccharide in metastatic cancer. Later, Dr. Sathisha, joined in the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, AR as a Postdoctoral research fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Shmuel Yaccoby, where he explored the role of bone marrow microenvironment in Myeloma tumorigenesis. Further, Dr. Sathisha joined in Tulane Eosinophilic Disorder Center, Section of Pulmonary Diseases, Tulane University, New Orleans, LA
