China with a nick name ’Red dragon” which is officially known as “People's Republic of China” is a world’s most populous country with over 1.381 population. It’s governed by Communist Seat of government which is consider as super power nation in Asia.

By geographically is second largest country by area with a landmass of 9.63 million square kilometres and its coastline along the Pacific Ocean is about 14,500 kilometres long, and is bounded by the Bohai, Yellow, East and South China Seas.
Status of economy, research and development:
China is one of the world's fastest-growing major economies. In present financial year, world's second-largest economy by total GDP growth and by purchasing power (PP). China is also the world's largest exporter of agricultural or technology sharing and second-largest importer of goods like oil, petroleum goods with the Global Ranking 144. The Chinese economy has undergone a period of financial market volatility and economic slowdown. The trading within the Chinese mainland hit a record high of $4.16 trillion in 2013, to become the world's largest trading nation. But during present financial year, due to the Deep-seated structural problems, including continued overreliance on public investment and exports for growth, a state-controlled financial sector, and regulatory inefficiency, have become more acute. Debt at various levels of the economy has been piling up as well, posing risks to long-term economic expansion. China is a realm member of Common Wealth Countries, Group of Ten, G8, G20, UNO, NATO, NAFTA and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation.

Since Ancient times, China was a world leader in science and technology, China has made showed a remarkable investment in scientific research which rises to approx. $192 billion spent on scientific research and development in 2014. 12 Nobel Prize awarded in Physics, Chemistry and Physiology or Medicine once respectively, though most of these scientists conducted their Nobel-winning research in western nations. In recent times, China has suffered from severe environmental deterioration and pollution due to global warming. In 2013, China began a five-year programme, invested nearly mammoth amount US$277-billion effort to reduce air pollution to save the “Red Dragon”.
