Dr. Igor Frangez is Orthopaedic Trauma surgeon specialized in Foot and Ankle surgery also dealing with diabetic foot pathology and surgery. He work in University Medical Center Ljubljana and Faculty of Medicine. His work fokuses on all pathology of foot and ankle, including bone guided regeneration, chronic wound treatment and use of low level light therapy as adjuvant treatment of chronic wounds. He is the founder and the president of Slovene Society for Photomedicine and Photobiology. I am a member of ESKA-AFAS, EWMA, AO TRAUMA, EMLA.
Dr.Igor Frangez research interests are: Foot and ankle arthroscopy, Foot and ankle Trauma, diabetic foot and Charcot nevroarthropathy, limb salvage operations in diabetics, guided bone regenerations with heterologous materials in Foot and Ankle surgery, phototherapy and chronic wound treatment.
