Rose Mary Ferreira Lisboa da Silva concluded undergraduate Medicina in Faculty of Medicine of Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), residency (Internal Medicine/Cardiology) in University of São Paulo (Ribeirão Preto) and Doctorate in Medicine (Cardiology area and Clinical Electrophysiology) in Federal University of São Paulo (1997). She performed postdoctoral studies at the University of Barcelona (2001-2002) under the supervision of Dr. Josep Brugada and Dr. Lluís Mont. Since July 1998, she has been acting as adjunct professor of the Faculty of Medicine - UFMG, and since 2006, as Associate Professor at the same university and postgraduate collaborator.
