Biography

Dr. Vagif Bilas oghlu Shadlinski was born on 24 January 1940. In 1968 he graduated the Azerbaijan Medical Institute. In 1969 he began his activity at the Azerbaijan Medical Institute and since 1970 he works at the Department of Anatomy of Azerbaijan Medical University. He is head of the Department of Human Anatomy at presents. In 1991-1996 he worked as the Vice-Rector for General Affairs of the Azerbaijan Medical University and in 1996-2001 he worked as vice-rector on study. He is currently a member of the Scientific Council of the Azerbaijan Medical University, deputy chairman of functioning at the Azerbaijan Medical University Dissertation Council FD 03.013. In 1982 he defended PhD thesis, in 1999, his doctoral dissertation. He is a member of the editorial board of several scientific journals.

Research Interest

Dr. Vagif Bilas oghlu Shadlinski research interest includes functional anatomy of the cranial nerves, morphological features of the digestive glands, morphology of the thyroid gland, anthropocraniometry.
