Abstract
This review highlights the critical role of various dietary factors in modulating immune function. Essential micronutrients like Vitamin D, Zinc, Iron, and antioxidants are vital for immune cell development and resilience. Marine Omega-3 fatty acids offer significant anti-inflammatory benefits. Furthermore, dietary components such as polyphenols and probiotics positively influence gut microbiota, enhancing immune responses. Optimal protein intake and comprehensive dietary patterns like the Mediterranean Diet also contribute to a robust immune system. Maintaining nutritional balance is crucial for effective immune defense and overall health
