Abstract

This collection explores the multifaceted challenge of global malnutrition, covering the double burden of malnutrition (DBM) in India and Ethiopia, and child malnutrition trends in sub-Saharan Africa. It investigates drivers like climate change and maternal nutrition, alongside the economic burden and effectiveness of community interventions. Critical issues such as micronutrient deficiencies and the long-term link between early-life malnutrition and non-communicable diseases are addressed. The overarching need for transformative changes in global food systems for sustainable and equitable nutrition is emphasized.
