Biography

Georgia Martha Gkotsi currently holds a post of researcher in the Institute of Legal Psychiatry of the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), in Switzerland. After receiving a law degree from the University of Athens, Greece, Georgia completed a Master in Philosophy of Law and Bioethics from the same University, followed by a Master in Comparative Law, in Université Paris 1. Georgia completed her phd in the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Her dissertation deals with the ethical and legal implications of the use of neuroimaging techniques in criminal courts.

Research Interest

Her research expertise lies in the area of Mental health law, Human rights of mentally disabled persons, Neurolaw, Law and Bioethics
