Biography
Dr. Haider H. Dar, a postdoctoral research fellow, currently working at University of Pittsburgh. During graduation, He investigated functional aspects of Nucleoside Diphosphate Kinase (NDK), a conserved and ubiquitous protein from intracellular pathogens (Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Salmonella typhimurium). He joined the laboratory of Dr. Affar in 2011 for understanding signaling mechanisms in eukaryotes and to overall broaden my scientific expertise. This transition from bacterial to eukaryotic system, gave him an opportunity to have a multidisciplinary experience and unfurled new frontiers to his knowledge and perceptions.
Research Interest
He has a deep interest in infection-biology and am currently working towards understanding of Lipids in Host-Pathogen Interactions.
