Johnson Liu

Biography

Dr. Johnson Liu has received his PhD in Pharmacology from the South China Agricultural University during 1996-2000, followed by postdoctoral training at University of Auckland. He is currently working as a Lecturer in University of New South Wales, Australia. He had previously held academic positions at the University of Tasmania, University of Auckland, and Auckland University of Technology. He has successfully completed his responsibilities as the academic coordinator for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. His research has included drug transporters, cancer cell signalling, pharmacokinetics, drug development, systems pharmacology and chemotherapy-induced neuropathy with funding supports from reputed organisations. He has been awarded the Best Trainee Prize by Medical Oncology Group of Australia and a recipient of New Zealand-China Scientist Exchange Program. He is a review editor of Frontiers in Nutrition-Nutrition and Food Science Technology and an expert reviewer for several international journals like Scientific Reports, Neuroscience Letters and Tumour Biology. He has authored > 35 research articles.
