Biography
Sorin Emilian LeucuÅ£a was born on December 7, 1939 in Oradea. He attended the National College “George CoÅßbuc” in NÄÃÆsÄÃÆud (1952-1956) and the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca (1956-1961) for superior education. He obtained the scientific title of doctor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca, in 1970. In the university career, he started as assistant at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca (1969-1975), occupying all hierarchic positions: lecturer (1975-1980), associate professor (1980-1990), Professor in the department of Pharmaceutical technology and Biopharmacy of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca (1990-2009). From 2009 he has been working as consultant professor.
