Dr. Srinivasan Shanmugam received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science from the College of Pharmacy, Yeungnam University in 2010. During his doctoral studies, his research was on liposomes, niosomes, and chemical enhancers for topical delivery and self-emulsifying drug delivery systems (SNEDDS) for oral delivery. He received his MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the same university in the year of 2007, and his research focus during this period was on mixed micellar nanoparticles for parenteral and liposomes for topical delivery. His undergraduate major was Pharmacy (Bachelor of Phramacy) and received his degree in the year of 1999 with research focus on “Endothelin Receptors.” Right after undergraduate degree, he gained hands on experience in manufacturing of solid/liquid dosage formulations by working in pharmaceutical companies for about five years. Currently, Dr. Shanmugam is a Project Leader (Principal Scientist) in Formulation R&D Division of Hanmi Pharm. Co. Ltd., South Korea.

Research Interest
