Biography

Dr. José Belderbos studied medicine at the University of Utrecht and trained in the field of radiation oncology in Anwerp, Belgium. Since 1994 she worked at the NKI specializing in thoracic oncology. She's focused on the introduction of new techniques, IMRT, combined modality treatment and optimization of stereotactic image guided radiotherapy for lung cancer. On 28-03- 2007 she obtained her PhD. Her research was supported by the Dutch Cancer Society with several grants.
