Biography

Sara Freedman currently works at the School of Social Work, Bar Ilan University. Her research focuses on posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), specifically examining early interventions and the use of Virtual Reality in PTSD treatment. Her current projects include: Virtual Azza in the treatment of combat related PTSD; Emergency Room intervention for interfering with traumatic memory consolidation; PTSD in fathers following traumatic birth; internet based CBT for exam anxiety.
