Biography

Tommaso Schirinzi is currently the Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. During his residency in Neurology, at the University of Roma Tor Vergata, he attended a laboratory of both basic and clinical neurophysiology, experiencing mechanisms of synaptic plasticity and neural transmission, especially in Movement Disorders (MD) and Neurodegenerative Diseases (ND). Later, he focused on clinical research also approaching the field of “omics”, namely being involved in studies on fluid biomarkers of ND, including Alzheimer's Disease.
