Doctor Adriana Roncella was graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome in 1979, Specialization in Cardiology in 1988, Specialization in Psychotherapy in 1999 ( training in psychotherapy at the School of Ontopsychology), Scientific and Humanistic Research Foundation Antonio Meneghetti Award in 2014 for research on Medicine, Cardiologist in the cardiovascular department at San Filippo Neri Hospital-Rome from 1992 to present, outpatient clinic of Cardiac Psychology at San Filippo Neri Hospital-Rome, research in the field of Psychosocial Risk Factors and Ischemic Heart disease, Main Researcher of the STEP-IN-AMI trial (Roncella A, et al, One-year results of the randomized, controlled, short-term psychotherapy in acute myocardial infarction (STEP-IN-AMI) trial, Int J Cardiol 2013), Coeditor and coauthor of the book: “Psychotherapy For Ischemic Heart Disease. An Evidence Based Clinical Approach”-Adriana Roncella and Christian Pristipino editors-Springer 2016
