Dr. Carlos Fernandez Pereira was graduated in 1984, had his specialization in Internal Medicine (Hospital de Clinicas), Clinical Cardiology (Favaloro Foundation), Interventional Cardiology in Otamendi Hospital, PhD in Argentine Catholic University (UCA). Board Editor in the Argentine Journal of Interventional Cardiology (RACI).Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), Fellow of the European Society of cardiology (FESC),Fellow of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions(FSCAI) and Latin America Society of Interventional Cardiology (SOLACI).The total of publications comprises 31 articles in journals specialized as an author and/or co-authored (MEDLINE) and abstracts in conference national and international proceedings. He has experience in Clinical Cardiology and Interventional cardiology, with emphasis in Cardiovascular Research acting on the following topics: multiple vessels disease, angioplasty in diabetic population, acute myocardial infarction primary angioplasty, antiplatelet therapy, percutaneous aortic valve implant(TAVI),structural heart diseases, massive pulmonary embolism interventional treatment, acute limb ischemia, oral therapy to prevent restenosis, Cost effectiveness in coronary artery disease, carotid stenosis stent treatment, new stents designs, percutaneous aortic graft implantation.
