Dr. Leto obtained her Medical degree from McMaster University in Hamilton , Ontario. She proceeded to pursue her post-graduate specialties at McMaster University with residency training in Medical Microbiology, Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. Her clinical roles at McMaster include consulting services within the Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases division, dealing mostly with immunocompromised individuals. She also provides consulting services in the sexual health program delivered through Hamilton Public Health, and is involved in teaching within both the undergraduate and postgraduate medical training programs at McMaster University. In April 2012, Dr. Leto joined LifeLabs as a consultant in Medical Microbiology.
