Biography

Dr. Garcia is professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the University of São Paulo (Campus Ribeirão Preto) since 2010. Dr. Garcia graduated in medicine in 1993 and had his Ph.D. in 2007. He was a post-doctoral clinical and research fellow at the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute (Bologna) in 2015. His main interests are skeletal trauma, joint reconstruction (primary and revision hip arthroplasties) and osteonecrosis. He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (SBOT) and Brazilian Hip Society (SBQ).
