Dr. Juhee Ahn received his Ph.D. degree under the direction of Dr. Ingolf Gruen in Food Chemistry and Microbiology at the University of Missouri, Columbia, USA and continued his work as a post-doctoral research assistant in Food Microbiology Lab. under the supervision of Dr. Azlin Mustapha at the University of Missouri .
His primary research field is microbial physiology, including mechanistic studies of VBNC induction, biofilm formation, and bacterial resistance to antibiotics.
