Biography

 Koichi S Kobayashi is working as a professor at Texas A & M Health Science center,USA. He conducted research on molecular and cellular mechanisms of the innate immune system within the department of cancer immunology at DANA-FARBER Cancer Institute, Harvard medical school. He have a number of publications in the peer reviewed journals.

 

Research Interest

 Current areas of investigation include: The functions and molecular mechanisms of cytoplasmic NLR family proteins, The role of TLR and NLR proteins in host-pathogen interaction, The pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases caused by dysregulated innate immune responses usingmolecular and cell biology, as well as gene-targeting approaches.
