Mohammed Monier is a Lecturer in Department of Chemistry Mansoura University Egypt He earned his PhD at Mansoura University Egypt Currently he is a visiting researcher in Department of Chemistry Drexel University Philadelphia PA USA until May 2011 He has published 12 Reviewed papers He has been teaching experience of more than ten years He served as a reviewer of peerreviewed journals in the area of Biotechnology and functionalization and application of biopolymer

Research Interest

Extraction and modification of some natural polymers i.e. chitin, chitosan, protein fibers…..etc. and applying them in some biomedical, industrial and environmental applications i.e. enzyme immobilization, drug delivery systems, removal of water pollutants by adsorption, chiral resolution of racemic mixtures using molecular imprinted polymers techniques…..etc.
