Biography

Dr. Sarker obtained his Ph. D. in Immunopharmacology from Okayama University, Japan; Master of Pharmacy (thesis)and Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons.) degrees from Janangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He has thirteen and half years’ experiences of teaching and research in Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Currently he is working as a Post-Doctoral Visiting Research Fellow and the Principal Investigator (PI) of a High Impact Research (HIR) project for antidiabetic drug research in type 2 diabetes animal model in the University of Malaya. Dr. Sarker has 25 publications in peer reviewed journals, and 15 popular articles on medicine and health aspects have been published in journals, magazines, newspapers, etc. Dr. Sarker has directly supervised several research projects and thesis of Bachelor’s and Master’s students of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He has widened his research collaborative activities with different institutions and researchers from the United States, Japan, China, Bangladesh, Iran, and Malaysia. Dr. Sarker attended several conferences as Invited Speaker. He is a reviewer and editorial board member of several peer reviewed international journals.
