Research Interest

My research focuses on characterization of genes and promoters imparting abiotic stress tolerance to crop plants and understanding molecular genetics of biosynthesis of anticancer drug Taxol (paclitaxel) in Taxus cuspidata cell lines. I use system wide genomics approaches to unravel the genetic regulations controlling these multi-genic traits.
