After engaging in a field of clinical psychiatry, I belonged to Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare in Japan from 2004 to 2006, in which I contributed to the enforcement of the new legislation on forensic mental health in Japan. I moved to Chiba University Hospital as an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry in 2006. Now, I am a lecturer at Chiba University Hospital. Since 2014, I had also belonged to the MSc course of Forensic Mental Health at Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London for one year.
