Biography
Dr. Janet Lynn Roseman specializes in Spirituality and Medicine and Compassionate Care. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Family Medicine at Nova Southeastern School of Osteopathic Medicine and has worked at Brown University’s School of Medicine conducting research in Spirituality and Medicine. She was also an Adjunct Faculty Member at Pacifica Graduate School teaching a course in Ancient Healing Rites. Dr. Roseman was the David Larson Fellow in Spirituality and Medicine at the Kluge Center for Scholars at the Library of Congress (2006). She is the author of several books including: The Way of the Woman Writer, Dance Masters: Interviews with Legends of Dance, Dance Was Her Religion: The Spiritual Choreography of Isadora Duncan, Ruth St. Denis and Martha Graham. She is a Reiki Master and practices integrative medicine using a non-invasive form of color and light therapy and specializes in working with people with cancer. Dr. Roseman also teaches workshops in Spirituality and Medicine and Compassionate Care, Illuminated ReikiTM and Illuminated Dream Healing TM for healthcare professionals. She is committed to elevating the practice of medicine and is interested in restoring the ancient ways of medicine.
