Biography

Mark A. Nelson is Professor of Pathology in University of Arizona.he completed his BS in Microbiology at Washington State University in 1984.In 1989 received PhD in Pharmacology/Toxicology from Washington State University.Expertise in Cancer Biology and Molecular Cell.His research career has been focused towards the molecular genetic studies on cancer (specifically solid tumors). The long-term goals of his research program are to identify genes involved in the etiology of cancers and to use the information from such studies to develop new and innovative treatments to prevent and cure cancers.
