Deigner H
Biography
Hans-Peter Deigner did his doctorate and his habilitation at the University of Heidelberg in pharmaceutical chemistry. Later, he held various senior management positions in biotechnology companies as the Biocrates AG (Insbruck) and SIRS-Lab GmbH (Jena) operates. Since March 2011 Deigner was laboratory director of the newly founded Fraunhofer IZI project group EXIM (Extracorporeal immunomodulation) in Rostock. With its research priorities biomarkers, molecular diagnostics, metabolomics, and various aspects of systems biology Deigner added the clinically relevant developments of the group.
