Biography

She is awarded PhD from Harvard University in the 1976. She holds a Master Degree (MSc) in Physics from Harvard University in the 1972, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Physics, Chemistry from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1970. She has extended her valuable service in University of Arizona for many years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Currently, he/she is working a Professor Thomas Brown Chair in University of Arizona. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals. She is the author for many books (The Challenge of Biological Membranes, X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy, Noise Characteristics of U. S. Synchrotron Sources).  

Research Interest

High-Speed Data Aquisition Systems, Spectroscopy Instrumentation, Medical Diagnostics, and Environment Monitoring.
