Biography
Carmen Mortellaro is currently working as professor at A. Avogadro University of Eastern Piedmont, Italy. She completed her M.D at Turin University in the year 1983, Diploma of Specialisation in Odonto-stomatology in the year 1991, she worked as Medical Director, Department of Stomatology and Maxillofacial Surgery – S. Luigi Gonzaga Hospital Turin in the year 1991 and worked as President of FEDRA (Research Federation into Congenital Malformations and Related Syndromes) during 2004-2013. Prof. Carmen Mortellaro has published more than 150 papers in the biomaterials and implant dentistry field, of which 21 in international peer reviewed journals on the service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine
