Biography

PhD in Biochemistry, Nutritionist and Registered Dietitian. Post-doctorate in Biochemistry (2011) and in Nutritional Epidemiology (2012). Professor at the Department of Nutrition and Postgraduate Program in Nutrition (PPGN) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), working in Clinical Nutrition and Translational Nutritional Neuroscience. Júlia has expertise in Nutritional Neuroscience and Nutrition in the Elderly, acting mainly in research involving the role of nutrients and their action on the central nervous system, both in pre-experimental, epidemiological and clinical studies.
