Biography
I started my research in immunology when I joined for my PhD at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India sometime in 2004. My research encompassed understanding self-antigen expression and peripheral tolerance induction with the aim to understand autoimmune disease induction. Following my PhD I started my career in some of the leading pharmaceutical companies in India. After few years of industrial experience I switched back to academic research and since 2013, I am working in University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Columbia, United States.
