Biography

Dr. Zhou is a director of cytopathology and an Associate Professor with subspecialized as Cytopathology and GI pathology at Washington University. He was graduated from School of Medicine, North China University of Science and Technology in 1986, received Master of Science in Neuroanatomy at Capital University of Medical Science in 1989 and Ph.D. in Neurobiology at Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University in 1993. He had a postdoctoral training in Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1994 to 1998 and an instructor at Brigham and Women’s hospital, Harvard Medical School from 1998 to 2002. He had a resident training in Boston University Medical Center, Surgical pathology fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Cytopathologic fellow at Baylor Medical College from 2002 to 2008. Dr. Zhou joined University of Rochester as an assistant professor in 2008 and promoted as an associate professor in 2013. He was the director of tissue banking at Wilmot Cancer Institute and was an interim director of Cytopathology. Now I will be the director of Cytopathology at Washington University.
