Abstract

This collection explores the pressing challenge of antimicrobial resistance and diverse novel strategies to combat it. It details advancements in discovering new antibacterial agents from natural products, alongside innovative uses of nanomaterials and metal nanoparticles. Biological approaches like antimicrobial peptides and bacteriophages are highlighted as promising alternatives. Additionally, precision tools such as CRISPR-Cas systems are reviewed for their potential to target drug-resistant pathogens. Collectively, these studies emphasize a multifaceted global effort to develop effective solutions against bacterial infections
